AT&TB Acquires the assets of Westates Truck Equipment
The assets of Westates Truck Equipment, the long-time Woodland-based fire apparatus manufacturer, have recently been acquired by American Truck and Trailer Body Company, Inc. The business assets will remain at the 285 Industrial Way address, and are now operating under the new name American Truck and Fire Apparatus. American Truck and Fire Apparatus is a producer of superior quality custom built fire apparatus and has the ability to assist with services of old or new equipment from chassis, pump repair and annual maintenance.

With this addition we have added a whole new level of talent and expertise, along with dedication to quality and true craftsmanship. We plan to integrate some of the manufacturing and fabrication into our current designs and continue to improve our quality products for our customers. This acquisition only enhances our ability to be leaders in the Truck equipment industry," said President Clint Garner.
This acquisition will be a perfect venue to enhance and broaden American Truck and Trailer's fine products lines. The new venture will continue servicing Westates products and will also sell new apparatus under the American Truck and Fire Apparatus name.
